- Storying a project.: situating your artistic method
- His way Is to look at the pattern of the ideas that were successful to make a template of how to make a monumoment.
- How do you want the public to engage with your work? What kind of engagement or response do you want to generate with your work?
- Artistic interventions in public space to trigger movement and action as a communal trace (passing on of the memory).
- His pattern was: Narrative, Essence, Idea, Action, Abstraction.
- This thing/idea and then the action, is what simplifies the story.
- A question for Elliott: I notice that I need to talk to people about my ideas to fuel more/new/better ideas. Do you rely also an exchange and random conversations with other people for specific ideas or monuments (whether or not the conversation was intended to make ideas for the moment monument)? And how do you include that in your work? What are the ethics around this?
- question for myself : How are you thinking of using storytelling in your own projects? When something is so ingrained in the story, then it should be included. What is your project boil down to? What is the essence?
. as a way to figure out my method
